On May 12th 2018, a former member of the U.S. Secret Service that protected two Presidents, endorsed Amie Hoeber for her race for U.S. Congress in Maryland.
Barry Donadio has endorsed Amie Hoeber in her 2018 race for U.S. Congress in Maryland. Hoeber is currently a candidate for U.S Congress in Maryland’s 6th Congressional District. She faces other Republicans for the primary election, but is clearly in the lead and is expected to win.
Once winning the primary election, she will face a Democrat Candidate in November.
Both Hoeber and Donadio strongly oppose the establishment of sanctuary cities in Maryland and have both made public statements to that effect.
Donadio fully supports Amie Hoeber and he predicts she will win the primary election and move on to beat her Democrat opponent in the general election.
Donadio stated “ In addition to her many credentials, Mrs. Hoeber is someone that will actually care about the district she will be representing.”
The two share an interesting commonality dating back to the 1980’s. They share both a service and an admiration for the U.S. Army. Hoeber was the Deputy Under Secretary of the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1987. Donadio joined the Army National Guard in 1987 and went on to serve in the Air National Guard and U.S. Secret Service.
